Amanda Williams

My work explores lyrical forms in nature, the mysterious ways nature communicates, and the secret lives of spaces and objects that hold our memories.

Using a variety of mediums, I enjoy blending ethereal botanicals, entomology, and atmospheric environments, with a vivid contrast between shadow and light.

Some of my inspirations include Baroque architecture, Bavaria & the Black Forest near where I lived as a child, labyrinths, the ocean, and puzzles.

I live near my home away from home, the beautiful gardens of the Brandywine River Valley.
